In 2042 there was a major battle between Super Robots and huge unidentified creatures called Mimetic Beasts . In the final battle between the Japanese Super Robot Godannar and the last of the mighty Mimetic Beasts, the pilot, Saruwatari Goo loses Mira Ackerman , who was both his partner in combat and lover — but at least Goo was able to rescue the 12-year-old Aoi Anna . Five years later, Goo retires from front-line combat, and by then Anna has received expert training as a robot pilot. Leaving Mira's tragic death behind, Goo and Anna fall in love, and decide to marry. However, on the day of the wedding, an emergency call is sent out, forcing Goo to hurriedly leave the wedding. Anna is in shock — left behind — still in her wedding dress. However, she is not the type of woman, who will quietly wait for her prospective husband to return! Will the two ever get married?
