Yasaka Hajime , a 13-year-old boy, is staying at his grandfather's house during summer vacation. One day, he meets a 16-year-old girl named Arashiyama Sayoko at a café and it is love at first sight — at least for him. He decides to start working part-time there, in order to be close to Sayoko. But Sayoko is not your regular girl; she claims to be a ghost possessing him. And if that is not enough, it turns out that with Hajime's help Sayoko can travel into the past. But she is not the only one with an unusual past; most of the co-workers in the café have a secret of their own...
