The 28-year-old Saeki Koushirou has given up all hope of finding love or happiness after discovering that his partner has fallen out of love with him. Since then, he has been going through the motions of his life but has not actually been living it. One day, during a commute to work, he notices a high school student, Kohinata Nanoka , on the train and feels an immediate connection to her. After running into her again the next day, he decides to take her to an amusement park, where they both end up confessing that their hearts have been broken...
